| Client Control Panel - We have released the "Client Control Panel". Using the same URL you currently use to access your "Account Control Panel" (www.yourdomain.com/cp), you can use your "Client ID" (4 digit number) as your login name and the same password as your retail account to gain access to the "Client Control Panel". From the "Client Control Panel", you can access all your accounts, no matter what they are. You can access dedicated servers, shared retail accounts, and shared resold accounts all with the click of your mouse. You no longer need to login to each account separately. This is where resellers should be managing their resold accounts from as the reseller area in the "Account Control Panel" will no longer be updated. Give it a try! There is bound to be some confusion with this major addition, so please join the forums to discuss issues you may have with it.

Mail Server Upgrade - A new server will be provisioned to carry the load of email in the next two weeks. The current server has done a great job, unfortunately with some of the enhancements we have added to our email platform, we feel users would benefit from some extra processing power. Look for a maintenance email in the next week with detailed information about when and how we will transition to the new server.

Backup Utility Available - Clients now have a utility specifically for backing up and restoring their critical data. You can use the new Backup/Restore utility in your control panel to backup your public_html directory or mysql databases. Once it completes the backup, it will email you, telling you where you can retrieve your backup for archiving. Restorations are just as easy. Look under "Utilities" in your "Account Control Panel" for this new tool.

Spamassassin Upgraded - Spamassassin has been upgraded to version 3.0.1 to include the latest tricks spammers are using to send you email. It's complete with Bayes support as well. Many users have reported a great deal more accuracy with the new version.

MySQL User Privileges Manager - A feature that has been asked for on more than one occasion is now a reality. You can specify specific user privileges to any MySQL user through your control panel.

Crontab Manager - Crontab can be confusing to even the most skillful users, so we created an application that will create crontab entries for you. You can specify any time schedule feasible and the utility will do all the thinking for you. Look for it under "Utilities" in your "Account Control Panel".

Disk Space and Bandwidth Usage History Reports - You can now access disk space and bandwidth usage statistics for previous months in your "Account Control Panel". Check out these reports on the Disk Usage and Bandwidth Usage report page in your "Account Control Panel".

phpMyAdmin Upgraded - phpMyAdmin has been upgraded to version 2.6.0-pl3 on all servers.

Reseller Mass Client Emailer - As a reseller, you sometimes have the need to email all of your clients, just as we do with this newsletter. We have created a utility that will allow you to send mail to them. Look for this utility under "Reseller Area" in your "Client Control Panel".

phpBB Upgraded - phpBB has been upgraded from 2.0.8a to 2.0.11 when installed through the control panel.

SSL Email Available - You can now access your email via SSL using POP3 or IMP Webmail. For webmail use https://green.mynethost.com/ as the URL to access IMP.

FREE Domain Parking Available- Sometimes you have a domain name that isn't ready for a full fledged website yet. Simply use the "Domain Parking" order form in the "Order Services" section of your "Client Control Panel" for retail domain parking. Retail domains will be parked at the retail Blue Virtual parking page. As a reseller you can offer your own version of a parking page to your clients where they can then park their own domains. Use this feature in the "Reseller Area" of the "Client Control Panel".

BuqTraq RSS Feed in Forum - We have implemented a live feed from SecurityFocus to be plugged right into our forum. You can now see security announcements pertaining to any and all products in the "BugTraq" section of the forum. |

Affiliate or Referral System - Since our inception, referrals have been the number one source of new clients for us. We want to continue that trend, but in exchange give something back. Currently we are developing an affiliate system that does just that. More details will be released as we have them.

Managed Email Hosting There seems to be a demand for "Email Only" hosting. We would like to offer a plan to do just that. It's even possible this plan would have IMAP available as a connection protocol. It's difficult to distinguish a price point, but we will certainly try. There is no time table for this product to be released, if in fact we do decide to release it.

Managed DNS Hosting As with email, there is also a demand for "DNS Only" hosting. We feel we have one of the more powerful DNS management systems available and are thinking about making it available as its own package. There is no time table for this product to be released, if in fact we do decide to release it.

Domain Name Registration - Domain Registration progress has been slowed. We no longer expect this service by the end of the year. The system will be rolled out in multiple stages. The first stage will be for retail registrations through Blue Virtual. The second stage will include the ability for resellers to register domains. More is planned, but the time frame isn't clear, so again, we'll just stop here.
